Assassin’s Creed Featurette: Secret Societies

ASSASSIN'S CREED

I will be honest here: I don’t care for videogames, and I care even less for videogames turned into movies.

That been said, I’m sort of looking forward to Assassin’s Creed. On one hand, because I love Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, two of the best actors of the current Hollywood panorama, and on the other hand, because it looks like there is going to be some sort of Spanish-related plot set in the 15th or 16th century (after all, they filmed in the south of Spain), and I can’t wait to see if it delivers or if they failed spectacularly with a parade of Spanish stereotypes.

In the meantime, here’s a little featurette to keep us entertained. Enjoy!

I saw cast for Isabel and Fernando – as much as Fernando would get a pass…dark and upset Isabella: no. Waiting for your review of La Corona Partida!

Maybe I’ll keep an eye out for it on Netflix. Speaking of which, I see that the US version has Mar de Plastico with English subtitles. I guess I’ll have to watch it for my Rodolfo Sancho fix now that he’s not in MdT-though no more Julian/Amelia drama is a plus. Also, I heard that Netflix has acquired the rights to the show, so my friends can now watch the show I’ve raved about. Just hope the English translation is good. Sometimes, like with Gran Hotel, there were so many nuances left out of the translations.

    Feliz Año Nuevo.

I heard about it! Hopefully the subs will be good.
I’m also sad about Sancho’s departure. It was a matter of him not being offered enough money, when he has other offers elsewhere. Such a shame, he should have stuck with quality and not with whoever offers more money, but I respect his decision. Plus, at least we are getting Hugo Silva’s Pacino back!
